Basic Computer Skills

Faculty must have basic computer skills before attempting to use Canvas.  BOT courses are available to enhance your skills in word processing, email, web browsing, copy/pasting text, and managing files.

How Canvas Works with WebAdvisor - Learn what information is transferred from WebAdvisor to Canvas, how and when Canvas courses are created, how instructors and students are enrolled in courses, and how to update personal information in Canvas.

Fully Online and Hybrid Courses

  • Before a course can be taught hybrid or fully online it must be approved for distance education through the campus Curriculum Committee. Check with your department chair and/or dean for more information.
